 MUSICIANS' ASSISTANCE PROGRAM BACK TO BENEFITS & SERVICES MAIN MENU The Musicians' Assistance Program (MAP) runs under the auspices of the Actors Fund of America to help serve the 10,000 members of Local 802 and their families. MAP serves members in the hope that they may perform with maximum artistry and productivity with minimum interruption to their work. MAP provides a wide range of services, including: MAP is committed to the goal of helping musicians, a largely uninsured population, to get appropriate free or low-cost treatment for drug and alcohol problems as well as for personal, relational and work-related problems. The coordinator of MAP services is Cynthia Green, LCSW, a New York State-certified clinical social worker, who provides caring, competent and confidential services on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. If you are calling on another day, please leave your name and number on the voice mail and someone will return your call as soon as possible.
