Local 802 is an activist union. In addition to our own organizing
and
collective bargaining efforts, we are involved in campaigns to
preserve and
expand arts funding and to save live music. Whenever we are called
upon to
help others, we do our best to participate in support and solidarity
efforts. And, we make it a practice to regularly take part in
legislative
and lobbying efforts at City Hall, Albany and Washington, D.C. |
