About this Event
Presenting a Zoom panel discussion with part-time faculty members from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and others, including Cecil Bridgewater, Darius Jones, Charlotte Small, Camille Thurman and Fay Victor. Moderated by Buster Williams.
We seek constructive dialogue, understanding and unity on issues of core concern, especially around sudden, unilateral changes to the New School jazz curriculum, the effect of those changes on the part-time faculty and the students, and how these changes do not reflect an appropriate nor a well-considered response by the New School to this critical moment in our nation’s history.
