First, learn about #NotMe by watching the intro video and reading the FAQ’s.

Start at https://app.not-me.com/login and create a new #NotMe account

After creating an account, you’ll be asked to run through authorization steps from your e-mail as well as your phone.

Once you’ve completely activated your account, you’ll be asked to “link to your organization.”

To get Local 802’s code, send an e-mail to Local 802 Personnel Administrator Lisa Mejia at lmejia@local802afm.org. Tell her that you’re trying to sign up for #NotMe and that you would like Local 802’s code. You have to be a current member of Local 802 in good standing, and you’ll have to provide your Local 802 card number (you can look yours up at Local 802’s membership portal). Lisa can also assist you in using #NotMe.

Keep Local 802’s code confidential and do not share.

Separately, our national union (the AFM) has its own #NotMe app. Download it at www.afm.org/not-me-app . If you are a Local 802 member in good standing, you can use BOTH the Local 802 version of #NotMe AND the AFM version of #NotMe. (As a member of Local 802 in good standing, you are automatically a member of the AFM in good standing.)

Local 802 offers three ways to report a concern, including unfair gigs (including non-union gigs), harassment, discrimination, health & safety issues, bullying, contract concerns, or anything related to the union or your workplace.
