Money Matters: Managing Debt & Credit Amid Covid-19 (Part 1 of 2)

This is a two-part seminar on Tuesday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 16, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm EDT. You are encouraged (but not required) to attend both dates. Part 1 and Part 2 can be attended in either order, so you can mix and match with a future offering. RSVP to either date here.

Debt is a fact of life for many entertainment industry professionals. In this two-part seminar, Actors Fund Financial Wellness Counselor Rebecca Selkowe, J.D., will cover the basics of consumer debt, including debt relief options, understanding and improving your credit, and strategies for paying off debt with variable income. Other types of debt (student loans, mortgages, etc.) will also be addressed. Learn to navigate common pitfalls and begin to engage in best practices so you can manage your debt successfully and with confidence. The June 2020 webinar will also include current updates and a provide a modified approach to debt management amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
