LOCAL 802 and THE NYC MAYOR’S OFFICE OF MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT Celebrate PRIDE

Local 802 welcomes our neighbors of Hell’s Kitchen and throughout the area in a celebration of LGBTQ Pride. Join us in the union’s historic Club Room for an evening featuring professional musicians of the LGBTQ community and their allies as part of the New York Music Month festival!

As a symbol of solidarity with the artists and the multiple genres in which they perform, the evening will sport a chamber music ensemble of the esteemed ChamberQUEER group, and a special segment of QUEERCabaret featuring 2024 MAC Award winner Maria Gentile as well as Anthony Fett, and Susan Campanaro as “Lavinia Draper.” Lynn Portas, pianist/musical director, will leading a sizzling ensemble which includes noted jazz drummer Sherrie Maricle.
