A resource to research, collect and distribute musicians’ residual payments for the exploitation of their talents in the motion picture, television and digital media industries.

Orchestra of St. Luke’s & the DiMenna Center

OSL and the DiMenna Center previously partnered with Local 802 on the Emerging Artists Project, providing mentorship, access to reduced cost recording and rehearsal space, and promotional support.

Post New York Alliance

An association of film and television post production facilities and labor unions operating in New York. PNYA members coalesced around the belief that a unified industry presents the post production community better opportunity to develop and promote public policy that benefits the film and television industry as a whole.

Sound Exchange

An organization that collects and distributes digital performance royalties on behalf of more than 130,000 recording artists and master rights owners accounts, administers direct agreements on behalf of rights owners and administers direct agreements on behalf of rights owners and licensees.

Sound Recording Special Payments Fund

The Sound Recording Special Payments Fund (“SRSPF”) distributes annual supplemental wages to musicians under the collective bargaining agreement between the American Federation of Musicians (“AFM”) and the recording industry.

American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada

The international parent of Local 802, Associated Musicians of Greater New York, comprising 80,000 musicians who perform in orchestras, backup bands, festivals, clubs and theaters—both on Broadway and on tour. AFM members also make music for films, TV, commercials and sound recordings.

New York State AFL-CIO

A federation of 3,000 affiliated public sector, private sector, and building trades unions throughout the state, representing 2.5 million members, retirees and their families. Central Labor Council – non-profit labor membership organization of 300 local unions, devoted to supporting, advancing and advocating for the working people of New York City.
