Subject Line- Introducing the 802 Emergency Relief Fund – Songs of Support

Today, the officers and Executive Board of Local 802 are pleased to launch the 802 Emergency Relief Fund – Songs of Support campaign. This is an effort to raise awareness about the Emergency Relief Fund, share music with our community, and spark generosity. This campaign will feature video collaborations from musicians, composers and artist friends of 802, working together virtually, and using all tools from iPhones to powerful home studios.

The 802 Public Relations Committee is pleased to share with you the first of this video series, featuring a brand-new song composed for this campaign, “Where Would I Be Without You?” with music by Doug Besterman, lyrics by Marcy Heisler, orchestrations by Mike Morris and performances by your Executive Board and friends, featuring Betsy Wolfe and Sachal Vasandani on vocals. The video was produced by Pete Donovan, and everyone involved in this project has generously donated their time and talent.

Please share this new song and campaign on your social media. Forward this email to family and friends. And, if you are able, donate here. We are here for our members, and together we will make it through this tough time. If you are a musician in need, please click here to apply for support.

With gratitude,

The officers and Executive Board of Local 802
