Electronic Music Committee Meeting

The next EMC meeting will be 11am-1pm on Wed, Oct 9th in the 4th Floor Conference Room at Local 802 (322 W 48th St).

TENTATIVE AGENDA ITEMS:

  • Decide on new EMC leadership
  • Discuss the Broadway negotiations process, proposals, and ratified language
  • Begin crafting suggestions/guidelines for Local 802’s 10-year vision
  • Re-establish priorities and next steps

The Electronic Music Committee (EMC) was formed as a think tank to collect data and start a meaningful conversation about the usage of electronics on Broadway. The EMC consists of industry professionals representing a wide cross section of the Broadway community, including music directors, orchestrators, synth programmers, and instrumentalists. All Local 802 members are welcome and encouraged to join.
