Musicians who work at Encores! at New York City Center have ratified their new contract. The committee worked hard to secure improved wages and benefits for the next term of the agreement, which is retroactive to July 1, 2022 and runs through June 30, 2024. Some of these improvements include:

• Increase in wages of 5.5 percent over the term of the contract
• Increase in health contributions
• Additional “protected musician” language
• New rehearsal musician wages language
• New smoke and fog protections
• New language providing media payment guarantees
