Happy birthday, New York Pops! The orchestra celebrated its 33rd birthday in style at Carnegie Hall, where students from the Pops’ “Kids on Stage” music education program performed. The Pops is the largest independent pops orchestra in the country and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music.
