Club Date Collections Top $100,000

The Contract Administration Department collected just over $100,000 in missing wages, health benefits, pension and work dues for musicians in 2003 in both the club date and hotel fields.

Collection amounts are based on grievance settlements, internal and external audits and late penalties.

Settlements may also reflect late payments received as a result of a first step grievance, musicians omitted from contract report forms, personnel or dollar shortages on individual contract report forms, unreported jobs, and adjustments based on internal and external audits.
