Meeting called to order at 11:15 AM. Present: President Gagliardi, Financial Vice President Olcott, Recording Vice President O’Connor, Executive Board members Brandford, Burridge, Cutler, Dougherty, Hyde, Kruvand, Roach, Schwartz, Sharman, Assistant to the President Boyle, New York City Opera negotiating committee member, Don Batchelder.

President Gagliardi presented a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with NYCO. Discussion held. It was moved and seconded to approve the MOA with NYCO. Motion carried unanimously. Batchelder excused. Discussion held on the NYCO union media agreement. Kruvand excused at 12:05 PM.

It was moved and seconded to approve the January 10 minutes as corrected. Motion carried unanimously.

Director of Organizing and Field Services Bennett Baruch present. Discussion held. Baruch excused.

Gagliardi reported on “War Horse” incidental music session payments to musicians for a run of the show in Toronto subject to an agreement with the employer. Discussion held.

Financial Vice President Olcott presented a request by American Symphony Orchestra to pay for night time rehearsals at day rehearsal rates for performances at Bard College on February 17 and 18. Discussion held. It was moved and seconded to grant the request. Discussion held. Motion carried. O’Connor and Cutler opposed.

Gagliardi reported on Local 802 financial policies. It was moved and seconded to revise the Local 802’s financial policy to increase cell phone allowance rates for business reps. Discussion held. Motion carried unanimously.

Local 802 Concert Representative Fisher present. Fisher presented a request from North South Consonance, Inc. to use public service rates for a February 19 concert at Christ and St. Stephen’s Church to which Music Performance Trust Fund criteria will be adhered. Discussion held. Fisher excused. It was moved and second to grant the request. Motion carried unanimously.
