Meeting called to order at 11:07 A.M. by President Cutler. Present in person: Recording Vice President Mars, Financial Vice President Fisher, Executive Board Members Burridge, Cohen and Hyde. Present by video conference: Executive Board Members Assael, DeRosa and Riley.

Minutes of the October 17, 2023 meeting were reviewed by the Executive Board.

Motion made and seconded to pay $500 from the Local 802 public relations budget for an advertisement with the Workers Unite! Film Festival as well as $200 from the Local 802 public relations budget for refreshments to be provided during the presentation of “Girls in the Band”.

Point reported on an offer made by a Local 802 member to provide Medicare consultation services to Local 802 members.

Motion made and seconded to approve the Bronx Arts Ensemble’s request to use Local 802 public service scale rates for rehearsals scheduled for November 10, 14,15 and 16 and a performance scheduled for November 20, 2023.

Mars reported that an $18,000 grant had been received by the NYC Health + Hospital Corporation to continue the “Music for the Soul” program.

Mars reported that he and Local 802 member Steve Shulman had signed bank signature authorization forms for the Local 802 Senior Musicians Association and were scheduling a performance date with Carnegie Hall.

Local 802’s next membership meeting was scheduled for February 7, 2024.
