MEET THE UNION MUSICIANS OF NYC! Say hello to Ian Yan, who recently joined Local 802 “to the have the benefits that union work offers (especially healthcare!), and to meet other musicians within the New York theater musician world.” Ian is a composer and musician from Hong Kong who graduated from Columbia in 2022 with a double major in music and English literature. He’s now working full-time in NYC as a theater musician. Ian most recently worked as the score manager and Key 2 sub on the Public Theater’s production of “The Harder They Come.” Welcome to the union, Ian!
