Urinetown: Local 802 has reached agreement with Dodger Productions for this musical, which is being presented at Henry Miller’s Theatre. The contract, which will run for seven-and-one-half-months, mirrors the wages and benefits of the League Agreement with some exceptions: A playing contractor need not be engaged, however if a member of the band provides those services, the premium is 50 percent. The engagement of a librarian is optional, however if a member of the band provides those services, it will be according to the terms of the League agreement. Instrument maintenance will be $30 per week; an associate conductor need not be employed; contributions to the sick pay fund are waived; and music preparation shall be paid according to the General Price List. The five musicians playing in this production have identity with the product.
