Rally for Knitting Factory Recording Artists

Wednesday, December 15th @ 12:00 PMMark Your Calendars!

Volume CIV, No. 12December, 2004

Knitting Factory/Instinct Records is cheating its recording artists out of royalties and denying them the rights to their work guaranteed by their contracts. For over a year, these artists have been fighting to have their contracts honored. It’s time for the Knitting Factory to play fair and pay fair!

Please join 802 President David Lennon, members of 802 and other unions, and Knitting Factory/Instinct recording artists at a demonstration outside the Knitting Factory (74 Leonard Street between Broadway and Church Street), Wednesday, December 15, at noon. At the demo, we’ll be announcing an upcoming boycott. For more information and to sign a petition in support of the artists, visit, or call 212.245.4802, x186.
