Photo Op: Musicians in the studio

Volume 113, No. 9October, 2013

It sounds better when it’s union! Local 802 musicians recently recorded the soundtrack to “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” a live show that has previously appeared at Madison Square Garden. The session was done under a union contract, and the album will be put out by Sony Masterworks. Remember, if you’re called for any kind of recording session – big or small – make a confidential call to the Local 802 Electronic Media Department at (212) 245-4802. We have an excellent track record in helping you win the pay and benefits you deserve, while protecting your job and your identity.

Besides those pictured on this page, there were other musicians on the session as well: Bruce Bonvissuto, Larry DiBello, Grace Paradise, Patrick Pridemore and Scott Shachter. Photos by Greg Landes.
