The Local 802 election will take place in person on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at two locations and times:
- VOTING SITE: Local 802 (322 West 48th Street, NYC), between the hours of 10am and 8pm, AND
- VOTING SITE: Rubenstein Atrium (61 West 62nd Street, NYC), between the hours of 10am and 7pm
You may vote at either site. Bring proof of COVID vaccination or a recent negative COVID test. Masks are mandatory. Bring photo ID. Bring Local 802 membership card printout (obtain from firstname.lastname@example.org)
Absentee ballots will be mailed out on Nov. 1 to those eligible voters who requested an absentee ballot by the deadline. (The deadline has passed now.) If you requested a ballot by the deadline and if you don’t receive one in the mail after Nov. 1, you can request a replacement ballot by Nov. 15 by contacting the election firm at UlerioS@adr.org or 800-529-5218.
If you vote by absentee ballot AND then in person, only your in-person vote will count.
As per the election rules, in order to be an eligible voter you must have joined Local 802 before June 30, 2021 and you must have paid your third-quarter’s dues “on or before Sept. 30, 2021.” To confirm your membership status, please log into the Local 802 membership portal at https://portal.local802afm.org
