I joined Local 802 in order to be a member of an organization that truly represents the interests of musicians. I’m also interested in professional networking, union resources and access to other musicians. I’m a vocalist, Latin percussionist and recording artist, and I’m also a member of ASCAP and SoundExchange. I’m the founder and director of the band La Potencia Latina. We’ve performed in venues like Gonzalez y Gonzalez and SOB’s, and we’ve also performed at the Puerto Rican Day festivities. My musical goals are to continue to perform, record, and create my musical projects. I’ve heard so many great reviews about the many benefits and services that come with being a member of Local 802. It is an honor indeed to be a member.
