I joined Local 802 in order to start professional work after earning a master’s degree in violin performance from Rice University. It is so exciting to be a part of an incredible network of musicians and to explore and take advantage of all of the diverse opportunities that New York has to offer. Having minored in film studies as an undergraduate, I would love to bridge my interest in music and film by getting involved with any television or studio work, especially film scores. I am currently a member of the New Haven Symphony, and I would love to play more classical music and new music, and to sub on Broadway if possible. I am really open to any performance opportunities! My principal instrument is violin, but I also play viola.
