I re-joined Local 802 because it’s the backbone of my livelihood. Along with making it easy to get paid, the union stimulates my career. I started music at the early age of three, and it’s still the key factor in my lifestyle. My musical goal in NYC is to make a household name for myself – and to work with the best musicians in the world, of course! My most favorite recent gig was the musical “Oz,” which is a knockoff of the Broadway smash “The Wiz,” which I also had the pleasure of being a part of. Though I started on piano (my root instrument), my principal instruments are flute and vocals.
