I joined Local 802 because I’m ready to bring my music to the next level. I wanted to join a union that is going to protect my future endeavors. My musical goal in NYC is to become part of the working music community. One of my favorite recent gigs was playing with the Gramercy Brass Orchestra of NY. It is a fantastic ensemble! I play bass and tenor trombone, and am versed in many styles of music. I have a lot of experience playing with show bands, orchestras, rock bands, chamber brass, and all kinds of small groups, but I also really enjoy playing Latin and Balkan music. Music is a part of me. There isn’t a moment where I’m not thinking or experiencing music.
